My doughnuts are the spirit of a hard working community and tradition that defines the Amish countryside. I pride myself on making the dough from scratch using simple ingredients to ensure the freshest sweet bite. Every doughnut is hand rolled and fried in pure beef tallow. This traditional method creates a crisp, golden exterior and a tender, fluffy center that you won’t find with seed oils. I offer 2 signature flavors with seasonal rotating flavors to come. Soon to be serving hot drip coffee and nitro cold brew from tap, sourced locally from King Bean Coffee Roasters.

A passionate baker with deep roots in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where the rich heritage of Amish country has always been a source of inspiration. I grew up rolling out cookie dough at my grandparents' farm during the holidays, often taking breaks to ride in the pony cart with their Amish neighbors. Island Acres embodies the Pennsylvania Dutch homemaker and the delicious art of handcrafted doughnuts.
